The halftime shows were led by former NFL wide receiver Nate Burleson, former WNBA player Renee Montgomery, NBA legend Charles Barkley and former college basketball star Clark Kellogg.
CBS is clearly pushing Burleson into a higher role.
But not everyone loved it.
Many fans took to social media to roast CBS, calling the halftime show “embarrassing” on Monday afternoon.

“This CBS studio show is absolutely embarrassing. Zero concern for the audience. An inconsequential NFL player, a really inconsequential WNBA player, an all-time great NBA player who doesn’t follow college basketball, and Clark Kellogg. Wow. The agenda is just too much,” former ESPN star Jason Whitlock shared.
“CBS game announcers: on the whole, quite good,” one fan added.
“CBS studio show: for the most part, unwatchable.”
