A Hell In A Cell Match Is Expected To Be Booked For WWE WrestleMania 42

Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu’s rivalry is reportedly heading to one of WWE’s iconic matches at WrestleMania 42, with sources indicating the match is expected to take place inside Hell in a Cell, according to Self Made Pro.
The report comes in the wake of the chaotic March 20 SmackDown brawl between the two that spilled far outside the ring, with McIntyre smashing Fatu’s windshield, dragging him from the car, and the fight escalating to the point where both men came crashing off a guardrail outside the arena. WWE General Manager Nick Aldis is expected to address the status of both men on this week’s SmackDown following the out-of-control confrontation.
“Sources close to the situation indicate that Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu is expected to take place at WrestleMania 42, with the bout likely set to be contested inside Hell in a Cell,” the report stated.

Nothing has been officially confirmed by WWE at this time. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter previously reported that a singles match between McIntyre and Fatu was always the intended direction, but that the Bronson Reed injury served as the final clincher for booking the program at WrestleMania 42 specifically. The two also had a match on the March 20 edition of SmackDown that was described internally as being designed to heighten interest in their eventual WrestleMania bout rather than serve as a definitive blowoff.
