Closing Match for March 27 WWE SmackDown Revealed

WWE has stacked the March 27 episode of Friday Night SmackDown with major moments, but a new spoiler reveals that the night will end with a highly anticipated showdown involving Randy Orton.
According to BodySlam.net, Randy Orton vs. Matt Cardona is scheduled to serve as the closing match for tonight’s SmackDown. The bout comes after weeks of escalating tension between the two, including Orton’s brutal assault on Cardona that left fans wondering when the former rivals would finally collide inside the ring.
Earlier spoilers indicated that Orton is also expected to open the show, meaning The Viper could be featured heavily throughout the night. That kind of spotlight usually points to a major development, especially with WrestleMania season in full swing.
The March 27 episode already features several major segments and matches tied to WrestleMania momentum. Cody Rhodes is set to return to television following Orton’s earlier attack, while Nick Aldis will address the fallout from the chaotic brawl between Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu. Elsewhere on the card, Jelly Roll is scheduled to face Kit Wilson, Giulia will take on Tiffany Stratton, and Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair will team up against The Bella Twins.
