Solar panels and residential developments in latest submitted plans

Residential development

A proposal has been submitted for a residential development on a 0.16-hectare plot of agricultural land adjacent to Llwyndewi in Llanddewi Brefi, Tregaron.

The new home will feature smooth-textured cement render walls, stone detailing, a synthetic slate roof, and UPVC doors and windows.

Panel replacement

An application seeks to update two high-level return panels on the Shire Hall in High Street, Cardigan.

The project involves replacing the existing visual content with new artwork, while keeping the panel dimensions, location, and fixings unchanged.

The updated panels will use printed vinyl or similar durable materials.

The artwork will use jet black, traffic red, and pure white colours.

Domestic solar panels

Plans have been submitted for a ground-mounted solar photovoltaic array at Dwyryd in Cribyn, Lampeter.

The 16-panel system will cover a footprint of around 68 square metres, including associated infrastructure.

The array will be installed approximately 32 metres from the main house, in a south-facing clearing chosen for its minimal visual and environmental impact.

Discharge of condition

An application has been made to discharge condition 3 of planning permission A240435 relating to Highbury House Hotel on Pendre in Cardigan.

The applicant believes that a submitted photographic survey record is sufficient to meet the requirement.
