Tyler, 30, is a computer science teacher by day, and also used to be a semi-professional rugby player.
He was due to represent England at the 2018 Commonwealth Games but couldn’t because he got injured, so is now hoping to go all the way and lift the Gladiators trophy.
He said his favourite event was Destruction, but the most difficult was Hang Tough, as “It’s one that you either have it or you don’t. I think for me it’s one that I just don’t have.”
