Midlands man beats 1 in 810,000 odds to win $30K from lottery ticket

VANCE, S.C. (WIS) – A man from Vance beat 1 in 810,000 odds to win $30,000 from a lottery ticket.
The man said he bought the ticker at the First Stop on Old Number Six Hwy. in Vance, with his morning cup of coffee
According to the winner, he realized he won while sipping coffee.
“I had to pinch myself,” he told South Carolina Education Lottery officials.
Odds of winning $30,000 in the Lottery’s 20X game are 1 in 810,000. Lottery officials say three more top prizes remain in the game.
First Stop in Vance received a commission of $300 for selling the claimed ticket.
Last week, a player in Vance won a $500,000 windfall, sold four miles away at the Vance Convenience Store LLC on Lodge Hall St.
