After the news broke that Blake Lively was allegedly not invited to her ex-BFF Taylor Swift’s long-awaited nuptials, many wondered if she’d speak out about it. Instead of doing a press release or a pointed response, fans are convinced she subtly responded with her rare Instagram post.

In case you missed it, earlier this week, the Gossip Girl alum shared a series of photos from her latest trip on Instagram. She shared the photos with the caption reading, “🇬🇧 🤍 🏴 so grateful for the best week with my loved ones.”
“Thank you @wrexham_afc and all the players and everyone who works at that stadium for the performance of a lifetime. 🤯♥️🤩 The greatest 10,000 people to share an emotional roller coaster with is in Wrexham 🥰,” she added. “*shout out to everyone (like my sweet sister in slide 10) who thinks someone is taking a photo of their cute outfit, when it’s really a video 😆💀”
In the post, we see her packing on the PDA with her husband Ryan Reynolds, hanging out with her friends and family, going through jewelry, and showing stylish selfies! Many think this may have been a subtle reply by showing all of her loved ones in this post (with no Swift in sight).

It all started with the It Ends With Us legal drama. There were rumors of a rift between Lively and her co-star Baldoni from the start. However, it all hit the fan when Lively sued Baldoni for sexual harassment and a retaliatory smear campaign in a civil suit back in Dec 2024, which The New York Times wrote about.
Days later, Baldoni filed a libel suit against The New York Times, and the following month, he filed a civil suit against Lively and her husband for defamation. Then, after Swift was drawn into the drama, rumors of a rift between her and Lively emerged, and it was seemingly confirmed when Lively didn’t congratulate Swift on her engagement to Kelce.
Since then, they’ve seemingly remained out of each other’s lives, despite Swift being the godmother to her children.
Insiders recently told DailyMail that Lively was also reportedly excluded from Swift’s wedding guest list: “It will surprise no one that Swift’s BFF-turned-enemy Blake Lively is unlikely to receive an invite” and that they’re “still not as close as they once were.”
