Nick Cannon has some political opinions to share, in case anyone was interested. The rapper claims not to belong to either major political party, but at the same time, he says, “I fuck with Trump.”
On his Big Drive YouTube show, Cannon told his guest, self-described “former liberal” Amber Rose, that he agrees with her “100 percent” politically. “People don’t know that the Democrats are the party of the KKK,” Cannon said. “People don’t know that the Republicans are the party that freed the slaves.” Cannon is technically correct that the Republican party was on the side of emancipation in the 19th century. However, the modern KKK has been pretty explicit in their support of the GOP over Democrats.
Though he and Rose share some conservative views, Cannon said he most agrees with W.E.B. Du Bois, who called the American political system, “one evil party with two names.” That said, the rapper is definitely a big fan of President Donald Trump. “Motherfucker’s cleaning house! He’s doing what he said he was gonna do,” Cannon enthused about the current president. “We got the Gulf of America now! He’s like the club. He’s charging a $5 million bottle service fee to get into the country.” He added, “I fuck with Trump.” Well, as long as he’s got a good reason.
