Police have issued an appeal for the public’s help after a man was seen injured outside a public park on Sunday morning.

Officers said they were ‘concerned for the man’s welfare’ and a description of him has been released.

Greater Manchester Police issued a statement on Sunday appealing for witnesses to an ‘incident’ at Westhoughton Central Park in Bolton. No further details have been given.

They want to speak to anyone who saw the injured man, who was said to have been near the Central Drive/Park Terrace entrance to the park.

No further information about his injuries have been revealed.

In a statement posted to social media, GMP Bolton said: “Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed an incident at Westhoughton Central Park this morning (29/03/26) around 9.30am.

“We would like to speak to anyone who saw an injured man close to the Central Drive/Park Terrace entrance of the park.

“The man is described as a being white, 25-years-old, with short bright blonde hair, clean shaven, wearing a black tracksuit/onesie.

“We are concerned for the man’s welfare.

No further details or circumstances have been revealed.
