Jolly Pumpkin Detroit closes but signals a future return

After more than a decade in Detroit’s Midtown, Jolly Pumpkin has closed its doors.

The taphouse and pizzeria on West Canfield announced the closure Sunday afternoon, but teased that it might not be the end.

“This isn’t goodbye, just see you soon. JP will be back in Detroit, and we can’t wait to share what’s next,” the brewery know for its sour beers said in the closure announcement.
