Poll: Will the Blazers Beat the Clippers Tonight?

The Portland Trail Blazers are fighting hard for a place in the 2026 NBA Playoffs. They’re down to 6 games remaining in their regular-season campaign. With the team currently sitting 9th in the Western Conference, every single night will bring a new twist or turn in their postseason-aspiration saga.

That said, no game remaining on the schedule will be as big as the one the Blazers face tonight, an 8:00 PM, Pacific tilt against the Los Angeles Clippers. You can read the preview for that game here. In a nutshell, this matters because the 7th and 8th positions in the standings allow a team to win just one game in the Play-In Tournament and advance to the playoffs bracket, while the 9th-place and 10th-place have to win two games to advance.

As you can see, the 7th and 8th teams have a bigger margin for error. If they win the first game, they advance. If they lose, they can still win the second game and advance. The 9th and 10th teams have to win twice to advance, both their initial game and Game 2. There’s a huge difference between, “Win just once and you’re in!” and, “Lose just once and you’re out.”

In any case, Portland sits in 9th, trying to get to 8th and one of those sweet spots. And who is in 8th? None other than the Los Angeles Clippers. The Blazers hold a 38-38 record, L.A. 39-36. If Portland has any hope of catching the Clips, they have to win tonight.

So here’s the question for you: will the Blazers win this one? It’s the culmination of everything they’ve learned, everything they’ve been striving for. It’s clearly the biggest game of the season to date. Can they come out victorious or will they fall on their faces as they have so many times in the past?

It’s a simple question. Give us your answer in the comments section below and make sure to tune in for our Game Day Threads and all the action tonight!
