Bayern Munich star striker Harry Kane’s injury caught the attention of fans on Tuesday and today, the Englishman will go through more medical testing per Tz:
FC Bayern plans to conduct its own medical examinations on Harry Kane on Wednesday. The star striker is expected back in Munich later today and, according to Absolut Bayern, will then be immediately placed in the care of the German record champions’ medical staff.
It is still unclear exactly what Kane’s ailment is as it has only been described as “minor.” Hopefully, Kane’s injury truly is minor and that he will be available for the Bavarians when the squad squares off against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday.
If Kane is unavailable, it would seem that backup Nicolas Jackson would get the nod on the big stage vs. Los Blancos. Hopefully, things do not evolve to that point.
Kane has 48 goals and five assists in 40 games across all competitions this season.
