Thursday’s game pitting the defending American League champions against the White Sox in Chicago was postponed on Wednesday, called because of expected bad weather to hit the Windy City.
The game, which was to be Chicago’s 2026 home opener, has been rescheduled to Friday, with first pitch coming at 2:10 p.m. ET.
Dylan Cease and Sean Burke were the expected starters for Thursday’s game.
The Blue Jays wrap up their three-game series against the Colorado Rockies with a matinee game that can be seen on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
