On Tuesday, a 20-year-old local artisan, who posted under the TikTok account @ramzzz.to, gave the Bronx rapper a custom creation in person.
Three days ago, he posted a video sharing his creative process for making a custom rug for Cardi B.

In the video, which garnered more than 1.3 million views, he asked viewers to tag Cardi B in the comments so she could see it and receive the rug.
Three days later, he posted an update after meeting the artist.

In the video, he read out an email Cardi B’s social manager, Ken, had sent to him. The message asked if he was going to attend the concert, and if not, Ken could get him some tickets. The email read in part, “I think she would love this rug.”
After enjoying a VIP experience with floor tickets, the creator attended the meet-and-greet to give Cardi B the gift.
In reference to his TikTok videos, the rug-maker asked Cardi B, “You seen it?” Cardi B replied, “Yes. I want it,” then added, “Omg you’re so cute.” Fans quickly spread the news.
Some TikTok users pointed out that Cardi B reposted this video.
In response to the video, a TikTok user asked, “Was she trying to shoot her shot?” to which another user criticized the rug-maker: “Bro, you got the chance to hug Cardi B, and you gave a side hug?”
