MGK Celebrates Daughter Saga Blade’s First Birthday with Never-Before-Seen Photos from the Last Year

MGK is celebrating his daughter’s first trip around the sun!

The rapper and girl dad, 35, is marking his daughter Saga Blade’s first birthday with a special tribute to her on Instagram. The post featured a compilation of photos and videos of him and his little girl, whom he welcomed with ex Megan Fox last March.

“1 🧁❤️‍🔥,” the doting dad simply captioned his post for his baby girl, which also included sweet snaps with his older daughter, Casie, 16, whom he shares with his ex Emma Cannon.

MGK first announced the exciting news that he welcomed his second daughter, his first with Fox, on his Instagram. He posted a black-and-white video of himself with his newborn daughter’s hand as he stroked her fingers.

“She’s finally here!! our little celestial seed 🥹💓♈️♓️♊️,” he wrote in the caption. “3/27/25.”

Fox and MGK, who got engaged in January 2022, called it quits at the end of November, not long after announcing their baby on the way.

Last November, he took fans through a day in his life. MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, started off the video showing off some special time with his daughter Saga,

At the beginning of the video, MGK helped his little girl as she worked on “practicing frequencies” on a tiny drum pad.

Back in August, the Nerve actor appeared on Today with Jenna and Friends to talk about his album Lost Americana. While speaking with host Jenna Bush Hager, MGK opened up about life with his younger daughter.

“It’s awesome. I want to detract all of the congrats to me and just move it to Megan because she really does all the work. I keep getting called ‘The Music Teacher,’ ” he said of Fox.

“Someone the other day was like, ‘You’re such a good dad!’ Just because I was holding the baby. And she was fuming, like, ‘No, no, no, no.’ She’s the one,” he continued. “I just play the guitar and pray that the baby is happy.”
