Chris Jericho opens AEW Dynamite with two words

We heard this afternoon that AEW’s original Le Champion could return to the company tonight on Dynamite. And sure enough, the April 1 episode from the town Chris Jericho’s from (you idiot) opened with Jericho’s return to AEW, and pro wrestling in general, for the first time since last April.
The 55-year-old Winnepegger was greeted by a cheering crowd, many of whom sang some of his vocals from Fozzy’s “Judas” as he made his way to the ring and soaked in the pop.
After shouting out Winnipeg, Jericho had just two words for fans in Canada Life Centre and watching on TBS and HBO Max: “I’m home”.
Did he mean Manitoba’s biggest town, or AEW? From commentary, Nigel McGuinness made it sound like he meant AEW.
Us? We were kind of hoping he’d pull an oldie out of his bag of gimmicks and not talk for the first six weeks of his comeback, and maybe he still will.
