Don Lemon teases possible run for president, claims he’d be ‘a lot better than Donald Trump’

Frequently fired journalist Don Lemon now believes he has the juice to become president.
The disgraced — and seemingly delusional — ex-CNN anchor weighed the potential political run as he boasted he could do a better job running the country than President Trump.
“I think I could be president of the United States,” the 59-year-old declared on the Pod Save America podcast on Sunday.

“Do I ever think about it? Yes. Could it happen? Yeah, it could happen if the opportunity presented itself, the right opportunity presented itself. Look, if I wanted to … I know people are going to think I’m crazy,” he continued.
“I could definitely run this country better than Donald Trump,” he claimed, without offering what he’d bring to the position.
The flailing TV anchor, who said he had no immediate plans to seek out the Oval Office, went on to compare himself to former President Barack Obama and his political rise.

“Did anybody think Barack Obama, as he says, this guy with a funny name is from a mixed background, did anybody ever think that he would become president, that he had that aspiration?” Lemon said.
“I don’t have an aspiration to become president, but I do think that I could run this country a lot better than Donald Trump.”
“Look, why can’t I think about running for office? Why can’t I think about being President of the United States when I look at what we have?” he added.
Lemon was sensationally axed from CNN in 2023 after 17 years at the lefty network. He now hosts his own show – “The Don Lemon Show” — on YouTube.
News of Lemon’s so-called political prowess emerged after he pleaded not guilty in February for his role in storming a Minneapolis church with anti-ICE protesters.
He is accused of depriving the constitutional rights of parishioners at the Cities Church in St. Paul when he joined dozens of agitators who interrupted a Jan. 18 service after hearing that the pastor worked for the immigration agency.
Since his arrest, he has repeatedly bashed the Trump administration and vowed to fight what he ripped as “baseless charges.”
