2 found dead in suburban Cincinnati home in apparent murder-suicide

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) – Two people have been found dead in a Liberty Township home on Wednesday.

Emergency crews were called to 4422 Hidden Oaks Lane at about 3 p.m. for a welfare check.
The caller was the resident’s son-in-law. He said that he had not heard from his in-laws in the past couple days and was worried. He told dispatch that his in-laws’ vehicle was still in the garage.
Once police arrived, he gave them the garage door code.

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office said that upon entering the home, a 70-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman were found dead. The woman was found on the couch with a gunshot wound, while the man was found dead on the floor with a gunshot wound.
Additionally, a dead dog was also found.
