The Timberwolves are coming off a 124-94 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday to begin a three-game road trip. They improved to 8-0 when holding opponents to fewer than 100 points after limiting the Mavericks to 34.8% shooting from the field.
Julius Randle produced 24 points to lead the way, while Ayo Dosunmu scored 18 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists and Anthony Edwards added 17 points in his first game off the bench in two years. Dosunmu registered his second career triple-double with the performance.
The Timberwolves and Pistons are meeting for the second and final time this season. Detroit took the first matchup on Saturday, though Minnesota has won six of the last 10 overall.
