Video appears to show Dallas Stars fans making Nazi salute, prompting investigation at American Airlines Center

A video circulating on social media appears to show a group of Dallas Stars fans making Nazi-style salutes during a game at the American Airlines Center, prompting an internal investigation by arena officials.

The clip, only about 12 seconds long, which first surfaced on Reddit before being deleted and later reposted on X, shows several male fans seated in the upper deck performing what appears to be the gesture in unison. The video was recorded during the Stars’ Dec. 21, 2025, game against the Toronto Maple Leafs and appears to be timed to “Puck off” by Pantera, the team’s goal song.

In a statement issued Wednesday, American Airlines Center leadership said it “has zero tolerance for any acts of hate and/or discrimination” and is investigating the incident.

“AAC has zero tolerance for any acts of hate and/or discrimination, and we aim to ensure an environment for our guests that is free from disruptive behavior, including foul/abusive language and obscene gestures,” the statement said. “As such, we strongly denounce the actions that appear to be depicted in the video footage and are conducting an internal investigation.”

Arena officials added that all guests are expected to follow the venue’s code of conduct, as well as applicable NBA or NHL policies, when attending events.

“Guests who violate any such Code of Conduct may be subject to ejection from the event without refund and, to the extent their conduct constitutes a violation of applicable law, prosecution,” the statement said.

It is unclear how many people were involved or whether any individuals have been identified.

The Dallas Stars have not publicly commented on the video as of Thursday.
