The Nationals return to Washington on Friday to face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the home opener with a young team that has, thus far, looked better than expected. A season-opening trip to Chicago and Philadelphia meant six games against a pair of playoff teams from last season, but they come back at 3-3 with signs of progress under first-year manager Blake Butera.
