Brush fire breaks out in Moreno Valley amid Santa Ana winds

MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) — A brush fire broke out in the Inland Empire Friday morning, burning dozens of acres, as Santa Ana winds picked up across Southern California.
The fire was reported around 11 a.m. on Gilman Springs Road in Moreno Valley, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department. At least 55 acres have burned in the light flashy fuels.
Gilman Springs Road is closed from Alessandro Road to Bridge Street.
Officials said evacuations would be ordered, but it’s unclear which areas will be impacted.
