Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is getting good news during the NFL offseason that proves just how how beloved he is in the NFL.

The Buffalo Bills are sharing some love for Josh Allen after his family’s big day.

The former league MVP and wife Hailee Steinfeld announced on Thursday the birth of their first child, a girl.

“Our baby girl has arrived!! We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments,” Steinfeld wrote her newsletter on Thursday. “Thank you so much for the love and well wishes. Love, Hailee and Josh.”

The team also shared a message for Allen, welcoming him into an important new phase of his life.

Bills Share Baby Message for Josh Allen

After the baby announcement, the Bills took to social media to share a message to Allen.

“Girl dad,” the team shared in a post on X.

Allen had shared his excitement about becoming a father, saying in a press conference after the season that he was looking forward to the baby’s birth.

“I’m very much looking forward to that with my wife, becoming a dad,” Allen said. “It’s something that I will take with great pride.”

The Bills quarterback admitted that he was heading into uncharted territory, but was excited nonetheless.

“We’re going to have to figure things out on the go, just like anything else,” Allen said. “But this is the most important thing I’ll ever be in my life, is being a dad. And I know I love being a football player and I love being a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, but I’m looking forward to this one.”

Josh Allen May Not Miss Offseason Activities

While Allen has some busy weeks and sleepless nights ahead, he may remain on track to join the team for offseason activities. The team starts optional OTAs next week, and new head coach Joe Brady said he wasn’t worried about Allen missing any important time.

“When you’re Josh Allen, you got marketing, you got stuff, now you got family,” Brady said. “I’m understanding of guys might not be able to be there every single day at every single moment. What I know is if Josh can, he will.”

While it’s not clear if Allen will participate in the optional practices, he would be on track to return for the team’s mandatory minicamp, which will likely take place around the first week of June.

Allen and Steinfeld tied the knot in a ceremony last May, with Allen scheduling it before the team’s mandatory summer practices and returning for training camp.

This is an important summer for Allen and the team as they transition to a new regime under Brady. The team changed nearly all of its coaching staff, while bringing on some important new players for the offense, including wide receiver DJ Moore.

The Bills are looking to rebound after a disappointing playoff exit in a loss to the Denver Broncos where Allen committed four turnovers. The Bills also saw their streak of five consecutive AFC East titles come to an end as the New England Patriots won the division and went on to reach the Super Bowl.
