Highway 97C reopened

Police have closed Highway 97C Thursday eveming.
UPDATE: 6 a.m.
The Okanagan Connector was reopened shortly after midnight, following an earlier closure.
ORIGINAL: 11:12 p.m.
Highway 97C between Merritt and Peachland was closed Thursday evening just before 11 p.m. due to a police incident, Drive BC is reporting.
On its website, DriveBC states the entire Okanagan Connector is closed for 106 kilometres between highway junctions southeast of Merritt and west of West Kelowna, with no estimated time of reopening.
The nature of the police incident is unclear at this time.
