Pat McAfee will leave WWE forever if Randy Orton loses at WrestleMania

Tonight’s (Apr. 3) episode of SmackDown opened with a shocking and critically panned (as far as I can tell at this early point) angle where Pat McAfee returned as WWE’s big reveal for Randy Orton’s mystery caller. Pat immediately turned heel by punting WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in the dick and balls, before cutting a promo about how only Randy Orton can save WWE’s struggling business metrics from spiraling down the drain.
McAfee and Orton drove out of the venue together after that. However, a short while ago, McAfee raised the stakes for the Rhodes vs. Orton main event match at WrestleMania 42. In this video that Pat uploaded to social media, he tells all the IWC marks that he will never return to pro wrestling television ever again if Orton loses to Rhodes at ‘Mania.
McAfee seems to think the wrestling business will probably die anyway if Randy loses at WrestleMania, so it’s not that crazy to risk his future on wrestling TV like this. I guess he can still appear on house shows, though, if Cody wins.
Do you want to see Pat McAfee leave the wrestling business so badly that you are willing to cheer for Cody Rhodes to win in the main event of WrestleMania 42? Let me know in the comments below, Cagesiders.
