UFC Vegas 115 Highlights! ‘Money’ Moicano Cashes In With Main Event Submission

Renato Moicano kept his top 10 ranking last night (Sat., April 4, 2026) at UFC Vegas 115 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, warding off lightweight teammate Chris Duncan with a main event submission finish.
Moicano, who was the betting underdog heading into Saturday night, looked dialed in from the opening bell landing from range with jabs and counter right hands. He usually gets better as the fight goes on so it was important to survive the first five minutes against Duncan, who has a ton of first-round finishes on his record. “Money” did that and more to gain some nice momentum early on.
Once the main event hit the second round Moicano ramped his efforts up. The Brazilian veteran started to let his hands go a little more and scored a huge combination that sat Duncan down and allowed “Money” to gain back control. Moicano kept trying to lock in a rear-naked choke, but Duncan was somehow defending. After some softening ground-and-pound, Duncan let his guard down just for a moment and Moicano sunk his arm under the chin. A few seconds later Duncan was tapping out.

Moicano, 36, snapped a two-fight losing skid with Saturday’s main event masterclass and now sets himself up for a bigger fight his next time out. “Money” has become one of the biggest fan favorites in the UFC’s lightweight division so expect the promotion to strike while the iron is hot and get Moicano back in the Octagon sooner rather than later.
