Sharon Osbourne helping with £5m UK mansion move after Ozzy death

The 73-year-old music manager lives across the Oxfordshire border in Buckinghamshire in her £4m estate.

She shared it with Ozzy, who sadly died in July last year when air ambulance crews based in Oxfordshire came to help.

But now, the former X Factor star is helping to sell a £5m mansion in the Lake District town of Windermere worth over £5,000,000, along with £250,000 in cash.

The prizes are part of a new prize draw raising vital funds for homelessness charity Centrepoint.

The winner will get the keys to a beautifully designed five-bedroom home set within more than half an acre in a tranquil setting overlooking Windermere, complete with panoramic views across the water and surrounding fells.

Located close to Windermere town, the contemporary lakeside property also comes with a separate two-storey boathouse that offers more breath-taking views across the lake.

The house comes mortgage-free, with all stamp duty and legal fees covered, plus £170,000 worth of furnishings.

The eventual winner will also receive £250,000 in cash to help them settle in, and can choose to either live in the house, rent it out for supplementary income, or sell up to become a cash multi-millionaire.

If the winner decides to keep the stunning property, the £250,000 would enable them to run the house for many years.

If they choose to rent it out, local estate agents estimate that the property could achieve a long-term rental value of around £5,500 per month.

The stunning 5,400 sq ft home has been designed to make the most of its lakeside setting, with floor to ceiling windows, balconies and terraces framing uninterrupted views across Windermere.

The ground floor offers generous living space including a welcoming reception hall, lounge, dining room and a large kitchen, along with a utility room and additional facilities.

Upstairs, the property features five bedrooms and five bathrooms, including a main bedroom with en suite bathroom and dressing room. Three of the main bedrooms enjoy lake views and open onto a balcony that runs along the entire rear of the house.

Outside, the property sits within half an acre of landscaped grounds with a large driveway, double garage and electric gated entrance.

The detached boathouse sits beside the lake and includes a wet dock and jetty on the ground floor, with a day room, kitchenette and balcony on the first floor, offering a unique space to enjoy views across Windermere.

Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, providing over 15,000 young people each year with safe housing and support, and driving the systemic change needed to end youth homelessness by 2037.

The guaranteed £1,000,000 donation will help fund Centrepoint’s Independent Living homes, giving young people the chance to move from homelessness into independence.

Centrepoint’s Independent Living Programme is an innovative solution to the youth homelessness crisis. It creates high-quality, purpose-built homes with rent capped at a third of income, giving young people the stability to build skills, save money and shape their future.

The partnership is backed by Centrepoint Ambassadors Kelly and Sharon Osbourne.

Sharon’s daughter Kelly, who is helping with the move, said: “We are so proud to be Centrepoint ambassadors.

“Home has always been such an important place for us, somewhere that feels safe and secure. It’s shocking that so many young people don’t have this. Everyone deserves the right to have a place called home, everyone deserves safety.

“The work Centrepoint does to provide personalised support for young people facing such a challenging time is vital. That’s why this partnership with Omaze will make such a difference.

“Your entry into the Lake District House Draw will help more young people to live independently and break the cycle of homelessness.”

Matt Pohlson, chief executive and co-founder of Omaze, said: “Everyone at Omaze is immensely proud to be partnering with Centrepoint for our latest house draw.

“By offering this incredible lakeside house overlooking Windermere, plus £250,000 in cash, Omaze gives people the chance to win a life-changing prize, while also raising vital funds to support young people facing homelessness.

“The lucky winner will have several fantastic options available to them such as moving into the stunning property, renting it out for a supplementary income, or selling up and cashing in whenever they wish to become a multi-millionaire, the choice is entirely theirs.

“Whatever they decide to do, winning will be truly life-changing for them and their loved ones.

“Thanks to the generosity of the Omaze Community, we’ve now raised over £100 million for good causes across the UK.”
