Frisco health inspections function on a demerit system: A score of 0 is considered perfect, and when the score exceeds 30, the establishment fails. At that time, an inspector may choose to close the business at their discretion.

One establishment failed inspection and was ordered to cease operations:

Chalo India, located at 11010 Panther Creek Parkway, had a score of 46. Inspectors noted issued with moldy food and gnats in the inspection report.

One other establishment was noted to have issues with gnats.

Sweet Rice, located at 252 West Stonebrook Parkway, had a score of 8. Inspectors noted gnats in a warewashing area in the establishment.

Here are the inspection scores and violations for food establishments within the city limits of Frisco for March 15th – March 28th, 2026. Scores are based on a demerit system. When the total exceeds 30, the food establishment fails. At that time, the health inspector may close a food establishment at their discretion. This decision is based on the nature of the violations, the food establishment’s history of compliance, and other risk factors.
