Less than three weeks away: Saipan Chamber of Commerce to host 17th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament
(Press Release) — With less than three weeks remaining, the Saipan Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its 17th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, set for Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the West Course of the LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort.
As one of the Chamber’s signature fundraising events, the annual tournament brings together the business community for a day of friendly competition, networking, and community impact. Proceeds directly support the SCC Scholarship Program, which provides financial assistance to local students pursuing higher education and workforce training opportunities throughout the CNMI.
This year’s tournament will feature a Two-Person Scramble format, welcoming golfers of all skill levels. The day begins with a 6 a.m. showtime, followed by a 7 a.m. shotgun start at one of Saipan’s premier golf destinations.
Teams are encouraged to register soon as the early bird deadline approaches. Discounted team registration is available at $260 through April 13, 2026, at 5 p.m., after which the regular rate of $280 will apply. Optional play packages are also available at a reduced rate of $40 during early registration and $60 thereafter. Registration will officially close on April 20, 2026, at 5 p.m.
Participants can expect an exciting tournament experience, including on-course contests, raffle prizes, refreshments, and opportunities to win cash and sponsor-donated prizes, all while supporting a meaningful cause.
For years, the SCC Scholarship Program has provided vital support to students across the CNMI, helping to strengthen the local workforce and invest in the next generation of leaders.
