Spoiler alert! This story includes details from Episodes 1 to 9 of Fox’s “Memory of a Killer.”

And it all comes crashing down as Angelo Doyle’s (Patrick Dempsey) worlds collide in “Memory of a Killer,” which sets up a “confrontation with The Ferryman in an explosive and heart-racing” finale.

After FBI Agent Linda Grant (Gina Torres) is revealed as The Ferryman, she and Angelo come face to face as she seeks revenge from him for the death of her son, Dr. Parks, whom Angelo killed years ago.

With the target on his back, the suburban father, who has been living a double life as a cold-blooded hitman for years, is racing “against the clock to protect the ones he loves” as his past catches up with him and his memory fails to serve him due to the early onset of dementia.

The season finale of “Memory of a Killer,” titled “Exposed”, will release Monday, April 6 at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT on Fox and will be available to stream on Hulu the next day.

Fox did not indicate if “Memory of a Killer” would return for a Season 2 and did not immediately respond to USA TODAY’s request for more information. Fox has not billed “Memory of a Killer” as a limited series, leaving the door open for another season.
