Monday night marked another opportunity for the Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic to make NBA history.
In a matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers, the Nuggets needed overtime to settle the score. Although they nearly took on their first loss in weeks, the Nuggets defeated the Blazers 137-132,
Jokic logged over 40 minutes once again. With 43 minutes of action, the star center shot 15-31 from the field, 1-5 from three, and 4-4 from the free-throw line to score 35 points.

As usual, Jokic was productive across the board for the Nuggets. The star center came down with 14 rebounds. He also produced 13 assists (six turnovers). Jokic came up with five steals and also blocked two shots on the defensive end.
After a productive night, stuffing the stat sheet with notable numbers on both sides of the ball, Jokic made history.

Who Is On The List With Nikola Jokic?
Jokic is just one of seven players in company with that line.
He is now the only player who has done it more than once.
The inactive players on the list are Michael Ray Richardson, Terry Cummings, and Michael Jordan.
The remaining three (outside of Jokic) are James Harden, Cade Cunningham, and Luka Doncic. Each guy still playing has a chance to match Jokic, but the Nuggets center surely has enough time left to continue building on his spot.

The Nuggets Move In The Standings
Denver needed a win on Monday night in order to move up the Western Conference standings.
Being on such a notable win streak, it was still extremely difficult for the Nuggets to pass by a surging Los Angeles Lakers team.
The Lakers recently suffered two key setbacks with Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves. They dropped their last two games, giving Denver an opportunity to take over the third seed in the Western Conference.
With a ninth-straight win, the Nuggets are 51-28, and in control of the third seed.
