‘Summer House’ Spinoff to Air Directly After Season 10 Finale Amid Amanda Batula, West Wilson Scandal

Lindsay Hubbard, Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula are ready to transition from life on Summer House to their day-to-day In The City more quickly than viewers may have anticipated.
Bravo has officially announced that the Summer House spinoff will premiere on May 19 at 9 p.m., directly following the show’s season 10 finale, which begins at 8 p.m. While the new series has been in the works for quite some time, its debut arrives amid quite a turbulent time for the main cast, most notably including Batula and West Wilson, who recently confirmed their relationship.
The teaser trailer mostly centers on the crumble of Batula and Cooke’s marriage, with the pair addressing their separation and impending divorce. And while Wilson is not apart of the official cast list for In The City, the sneak peak confirms he will pop up on season one.
Hubbard, Cooke and Batula will lead the In The City cast, and will be joined by fellow Summer House alum Danielle Olivera, Eoin Heavey, Andrea Denver, Lexi Sundin, Nick Barber, Yvonne Najor, Georgina Ferzil, Whitney Fransway (who appeared on Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor), Kenny Martin, Gavin Moseley and Katie Arundel.
After weeks of rumors in March that Batula and Wilson had began a romantic relationship, the duo confirmed suspicions (and broke the internet) with a joint statement on March 31. Batula and Cooke previously revealed they separated in January, though the real shocker of the scandal stemmed from Batula’s long-standing friendship with Ciara Miller, whom used to date Wilson.
Unlike Wilson, the teaser does not indicate that Miller will be featured in any capacity on In The City.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it,” Batula and Wilson’s statement began.
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care,” their statement continued. “As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
Wilson joined the cast of Bravo’s Summer House in season eight, which began airing in 2024. There, Wilson met the cast and began his romance with Miller, whom he dated through the end of the year. At the season eight reunion of the reality series, the two announced they were no longer together, and Miller revealed that Wilson said he could not commit to a serious relationship with her “for show related reasons.”
Wilson and Miller were on rocky terms throughout the ninth season of Summer House. Season 10 premiered in February and is currently airing, where the two have gotten close and rehashed aspects of their former romance. (In episode seven, Miller admitted that “it’s very clear that we both miss each other,” and noted that “we’re in a weird state of like, limbo, and so it’s all just coming out so disorganized and a bit crazy.”)
In The City is produced by Truly Original (a Banijay Americas company) with Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Jamie Jakimo, Lori Gordon, Tamara Najm Coudurier and Faith Gaskins serving as executive producers.
