Sicamous Eagles’ rookie sensation Chase Campbell has been called up by the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.

Sicamous Eagles rookie Chase Campbell has been called up to Salmon Arm Silverbacks as they start their playoff campaign.

The Eagles announced Campbell’s call up in a post on their website earlier this month.

“Chase has been a key part of our lineup this season and has earned this opportunity through his hard work, consistency, and commitment on and off the ice,” said Derek Sweet-Coulter, head coach and general manager of the Sicamous Eagles.

“This is what our program is all about, we want to develop our players and move them on to bigger and better things,” he said. “We’re excited to see him take the next step with Salmon Arm and continue his development at the BCHL level.”

Campbell had an outstanding first season with the Sicamous Eagles and led the team with 58 points over 40 games this season.

Campbell is not yet part of the Silverbacks’ active roster but he could make his debut during Salmon Arm’s upcoming two-game home stand which starts Tuesday night.
