Viewers of Married At First Sight Australia have been left fuming, urging “just leave” following one bride’s “disgusting behaviour” after her harsh outburst.
This week introduced family and friends week, where the original couples met their loved ones and gained their perspectives, offering them a glimpse into what life might be like outside the experiment. However, it hasn’t all been plain sailing, with tensions escalating between some couples.
Last night (Tuesday, 7th April), saw tensions mount as Gia exited the Married At First Sight experiment after a strained dinner with family and friends, while newcomers Joel and Juliette encountered a roadblock in their relationship.

Tonight (Wednesday, 8th April) witnessed the drama persist between Joel and Juliette as they were assigned an intimacy challenge. Speaking to the camera, Juliette confessed: “I’ve been fighting the ick all week and it’s doing my head in.”
When tasked with maintaining eye contact for a prolonged period, Juliette declined, stating: “No – I think it’s inappropriate for sure”, reports OK!.
Storming away from the conversation, she added: “You’re p****** me off, I’ll leave actually.”
Juliette then retreated to another room, forcing Joel to converse with her through the door. She vented: “You aggravate me, darl.”
In a further harsh outburst, Juliette retorted: “I’m not going to stare into your devil eyes.” When Joel suggested the next task was a hug, Juliette continued: “You don’t get the privilege to touch me right now… Just don’t come near me anymore you p*** me off.”
She then stated: “You purposely say mean things to try upset me… you can try again after you’ve apologised.”
Viewers at home were less than impressed, with one person commenting on X: “Juliette! Just f****** leave then and do herself, Joel and us lot a favour!”

Another posted: “Juliette seems checked out so maybe she should just leave.” A third commented: “At this point Juliette just leave.”
A fourth remarked: “I thought Bec was vile but Juliette takes that crown”, while a fifth wrote: “She has to be playing it up for the camera because this is.”
One person labelled her behaviour as “disgusting” while another called it a “red flag”. One viewer echoed: “Juliette is behaving like a teenager.”
Later in the episode, Juliette and Joel began the photo ranking challenge where they had to rank each photo of the opposite sex in terms of attractiveness. However, this led to further tensions between the pair.
One person commented on X: “Juliette is brutal.” Another added: “joel and juliette are driving me insane, wrap it right on up man.”
