Less than a year since tying the knot, Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos have been hit with divorce rumors. The pair wed in a luxurious – and star-studded – ceremony in Italy last summer, but questions are starting to swirl about the long-term future of their romance.
Could the couple be headed for a split so soon after marriage?

Although multiple outlets reported that Lauren and Jeff had a visibly frosty exchange at the Vanity Fair Oscars after party in March, something else is fueling the divorce rumors between the pair.
As it turns out, that’s a list of “eligible bachelors” that Lauren has to hand. But those bachelors aren’t actually for her. Rather, the former journalist has been using her long list of contacts to set up her single celebrity friends. And, she’s proven pretty successful at doing so.
“Everyone these days goes to Lauren,” an insider told the Daily Mail of the 56-year-old’s date-fixing skills. “She is like a matchmaker now.”
“Between her friends and Jeff’s friends, they know a ton of eligible bachelors,” the source went on, confirming that the pair “introduce people for sure.”
One of Lauren’s most recent pairings is model Brooks Nader and actor Taron Egerton. They first met at Lauren and Jeff’s glitzy Venice wedding in June. The Amazon-founder’s wife then went on to give the pair a more formal introduction later down the line.
Another duo that hit it off thanks to Lauren is Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau. Although a seemingly unlikely match, the singer and former Canadian Prime Minister have been going from strength to strength since her high-profile split from Orlando Bloom.
“Lauren introduced them through her circle – she thought they’d vibe instantly, and wow, did she call it,” reported Rob Shuter on Substack in October. “They have insane chemistry.”
