The JCB Melling Chase is one of four Grade 1s on the second day as Heart Wood attempts to add to his Ryanair Chase success. The professional jockeys also get their first sight of Aintree’s iconic spruce fences in the Topham Handicap Chase ahead of tomorrow’s big one.
