If he plays 20-plus minutes on Friday, Wembanyama will hit the 65-game threshold for NBA award eligibility.
Wembanyama is averaging 24.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, one steal and 3.1 blocks this season. He’s guided the Spurs to a Southwest Division title and the No. 2 seed in the West.
