Meagan Good is opening up about rehoming her cat after falling in love with her now-husband Jonathan Majors.

Jonathan and Meagan first met in late October 2022 and then were publicly linked as a couple in early 2023. They got married in March 2025.

The 44-year-old actress appeared on the Picture This podcast this week and was asked, “What’s something you thought you couldn’t live without, but actually could.”

The answer was, her former cat Bam Bam.

“Uh, my cat, ’cause I had to get rid of my little cat. His name is Bam Bam,” she said.

Jonathan already had two dogs and then they got a third one together, which Bam Bam didn’t handle well.

“The pups came with Jonathan. So, there was two pups. And then we got a third one. And by the third one, Bam Bam was real upset and Bam Bam started using the bathroom in the bed,” Meagan said. “So, at first I was like, I don’t know. Well, I’m going to miss him and I really want him here and he’s my own pupp. He’s my little kitty, you know, and he’s like, you know, but then we had a puppy and the puppy pushed him off the edge.”

The interviewer asked, “So, you chose the puppy over Bam Bam?”

Meagan clarified, “I chose the man.”
