EMS workers taken to the St. Barnabas Hospital after responding to call in the Bronx

BRONX, New York (WABC) — Several EMS workers were rushed to the hospital after being attacked in the Bronx on Thursday.

It happened around 10 p.m. at 1889 Sedgwick Ave. between West Tremont Avenue and West 179th Street after EMS responded to a call.

Police say three EMS workers were assaulted.

They say an individual was taken into custody.

All members are said to be in stable condition.

No further details have been provided.
