It feels like a lot of Liverpool fans have made their minds up about Arne Slot, and that is that he needs to go. That still feels harsh to me – after all, Slot won the Premier League last season.
I agree this has been a disappointing campaign, but surely winning a title in your first year buys you some time?
Liverpool are clearly not playing well at the moment, though. I’ve been thinking for a while now that they’re going to get out of this slump because of the players they have.
But when you watch them there’s nothing to suggest it will happen and they have been so inconsistent for so long now.
