Postcode Lottery results with lucky streets in Gateshead, Jarrow and Sunderland

Residents of these North East areas who play the national game have won a £1,000 prize

People living in Gateshead, South Tyneside and Sunderland and areas of the North East have won a chunk of money on the Postcode Lottery. Five streets across the region were among the locations where players have won a £1,000 prize in the past week.
The winning areas were picked out between Saturday, April 3 and Friday, April 10. Several postcodes were selected as winners.
Residents living in the SR2 0DA postcode area of Sunderland, the NE32 5JL postcode area of Jarrow, and NE10 8HS postcode in Gateshead all pocketed prize money.
The People’s Postcode Lottery, which raises money for charity through its subscriptions, unveils daily prizes for postcodes across the country. A minimum of 33% from each ticket goes to charity.
Players have raised more than £950 million for over 9,000 charities and good causes since 2005.
The North East Postcode Lottery winners from April 3 to April 10 as well as the amounts that their prize is worth, are as follows:
- SR2 0DA (Ryhope Colliery, Sunderland) – £1,000
- NE32 5JL (Jarrow, South Tyneside) – £1,000
- TS11 6DG (Redcar) – £1,000
- NE10 8HS – (Gateshead) – £1,000
- TS10 2HT – (Redcar) – £1,000
