Barry Manilow’s Portland concert has been postponed because of the 82-year-old singer’s health.

The show scheduled for April 19 at Cross Insurance Arena – and all of Manilow’s April concerts – are being rescheduled due to a doctor’s orders, the venue announced Thursday.

In December, a stage-one cancerous tumor was discovered on Manilow’s left lung and he later had surgery to have it removed.

The show is being rescheduled and all tickets sold so far will be honored for the new date. Manilow, who had many big radio hits in the 1970s and ’80s, was about to start a farewell tour. The show at Cross Insurance Arena had been billed as “The Last Portland Concert.”
