Final Injury Report for Wizards-Cavaliers: Will Donovan Mitchell, James Harden Play?

In Friday’s loss to the Hawks, James Harden led the way for the Cavaliers as he recorded 20 points and five assists while Jaylon Tyson added 15 points, four rebounds and three assists of his own.
Now Cleveland will try to bounce back at home on Sunday as they face off against a struggling Wizards team.
On the other side, Washington enters Sunday’s contest with a 17-64 record after losing at home to the Miami Heat on Friday night.

Bub Carrington led the way for the Wizards in Friday’s loss as he ended the game with 30 points and four assists while Bilal Coulibaly recorded 25 points, five rebounds and five assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Wizards, they have 10 players listed on their injury report, including both Coulibaly and Tre Johnson.

Washington has ruled out Johnson due to a foot injury as he will miss his fifth consecutive contest.
The Wizards have also ruled out Coulibaly due to a heel injury while Alex Sarr, Trae Young, Anthony Davis, Tristan Vukcevic, Kyshawn George, D’Angelo Russell and Cam Whitmore all remain sidelined while recovering from injuries.

Anthony Gill has been listed as questionable due to a lingering back injury and he is in danger of missing his first game since March 3.

On the other side, the Cavaliers have nine players listed on their injury report, including both Donovan Mitchell and Harden.

Cleveland have ruled out Mitchell due to ankle injury management as they will elect to rest him in their final game of the regular season.

The Cavaliers have also ruled out Harden due to rest as he will also sit out Cleveland’s final regular season game.

Jarrett Allen (knee injury management), Evan Mobley (calf), Thomas Bryant (calf), Sam Merrill (hamstring), Dennis Schroder (rest), Keon Ellis (knee) and Dean Wade (ankle) have also all been ruled out for Sunday’s game.
