Raptors at full health for regular-season finale vs. Nets

With a playoff spot on the line, the Toronto Raptors have a clean bill of health for their regular-season finale.

Despite being listed as questionable heading into Sunday’s showdown against the Brooklyn Nets, RJ Barrett, Collin Murray-Boyles, Immanuel Quickley and Trayce Jackson-Davis are all available, the team announced before tip-off (Sportsnet ONE, 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT).

Barrett was questionable with knee soreness and missed Friday’s game against the New York Knicks. The 25-year-old is averaging 19.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists this season, and the Raptors have a 33-23 record when he’s in the lineup.

Murray-Boyles also missed Friday’s loss to the Knicks while dealing with a neck sprain. In his last game against the Miami Heat on Thursday, he finished with 17 points, eight rebounds, two steals and a block, and shot a perfect seven-for-seven from the field.

The 20-year-old rookie forward is averaging 8.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists this season.

Quickley, meanwhile, was out against New York as the team managed plantar fasciitis in his right foot. He missed eight games in late March and early April, but returned for the team’s two-game set against the Heat.

He’s averaging 16.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.9 assists this year while shooting 37.6 per cent from three-point range. The Raptors have a 40-29 record when he’s laced up.

Trayce Jackson-Davis was listed as questionable with an illness, but the mid-season acquisition has lacked for minutes since joining the Raptors via trade at the deadline. He’s averaging 1.7 points and 1.8 rebounds in five minutes per game.

The Raptors have a chance to clinch a playoff spot for the first time since the 2021-22 season should they beat the Nets on Sunday. If they win and the Atlanta Hawks lose to the Heat, the Raptors will secure the fifth seed and take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. If the Hawks win, the Raptors will get the sixth seed and face the Knicks.
