Solanke will start at the Stadium of Light and told Sky Sports: “He’s done a lot in the short time we have had. He’s been honest, given his feedback.
“He was a player so knows how we work. We’ve taken to that quickly and it will be great for us.”
On how De Zerbi wants Spurs to play, Solanke continued: “Everyone knows the style of play he has, he loves to have the ball. We all want to be on the ball and create stuff. He’s perfect for that style of play and we are all excited to get going.”
Spurs will kickoff sitting inside the bottom three of the Premier League.
And if this adds extra pressure ahead of the game, Solanke added: “There is always going to be pressure. The job doesn’t change, we still need to win games no matter where we are in the table.
“We know it’s a big game and we will do everything we can to win.”
