Report: Doc Rivers departing as Bucks head coach

Doc Rivers will be departing as the Bucks’ bench boss following a 32-50 season that saw them miss the playoffs, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Sunday.
Rivers leaves Milwaukee with a 97-103 record across three seasons with two first-round exits in his first two campaigns.
This season is the first time the Bucks will not be in the postseason since 2015-16.
Rivers shockingly took over as Bucks head coach in January 2024 after they fired Adrian Griffin despite a 30-13 start to the 2023-24 season.
Rivers’ leaving appears to be the first step of what will be an eventful off-season for the Bucks.
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s issues with the Bucks front office throughout this season are expected to be resolved this summer.
