Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Officially Moves Into Marsh Farm on the Sandringham Estate

Former Prince Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, is officially now living in his new home Marsh Farm on the Sandringham Estate, according to reports. He was pictured walking his dogs near the property; Queen Elizabeth’s final two corgis have reportedly been living with him.

Andrew was evicted from Royal Lodge near Windsor Castle this past fall. “His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement in October. “Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation. These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.”

In February, he moved to Wood Farm, and was living there until renovations were complete on Marsh Farm. It was at Wood Farm where he was arrested on February 19 on suspicion of misconduct in public office, and he remains under investigation. (He has always denied any wrongdoing.) Andrew’s accommodation is now privately funded by the King, as Marsh Farm is located on the royal family’s private estate of Sandringham.

The five-bedroom property—formerly a working farmhouse—reportedly underwent major renovations ahead of Andrew’s move. According to Hola, “The interiors were upgraded with luxury carpets from Linney Cooper, a company known for supplying the Royal Household, along with modern amenities including high-speed internet and satellite television. Security was also significantly reinforced due to the property’s proximity to a public road, with the addition of a near two-meter wooden perimeter fence, CCTV systems, security lighting, and even an airspace restriction zone.”
