Good Morning Britain viewers were delighted when they spotted the presenter back on screens once more.

Susanna Reid and Ed Balls made their return to the ITV programme on Monday morning (April 14) following a brief hiatus for the Easter holidays.

The Good Morning Britain hosts were last seen on the show on Wednesday (March 25) when they presented the programme together.

Throughout their time away, audiences have witnessed the likes of Rob Rinder, Ranvir Singh, Charlotte Hawkins, Paul Brand and Adil Ray step in to cover their duties.

Taking to Instagram at the beginning of the week, before the show went live, Susanna posted a video of herself arriving at the studio and having a quick chat with Kate Garraway, who promptly remarked on her fresh appearance, reports the Mirror.

Entering the set, Susanna said: “Come in with me! We’re back in the studio, and Kate’s already here. Morning all, how are we?” Kate responded: “Morning, ooh and a nice hair chop!”

She wrote beneath the post: “WE’RE BACK! Great to return to the @gmb studio this morning @edballs @kategarraway after a lovely Easter break. Look forward to seeing you all! Camerawork by Floor Manager @chloeoakes1”

It didn’t take long for people to respond to her post, with many chuffed to see Susanna back on the programme, while some complimented her new style.

One viewer expressed: “So good to see you back, looking FRESH, Susanna.” Another penned: “Good morning Susanna, lovely to have you back.”

While Ed and Susanna have made their return to Good Morning Britain, viewers are still awaiting the reappearance of Lorraine Kelly and the Loose Women panel.

They confirmed they would be off air ‘for a few weeks’ at the beginning of March, but did not specify a return date.

Their absence from the ITV schedule follows the announcement that both shows will now broadcast for 30 weeks annually, rather than their usual 52-week run.

Good Morning Britain is available to watch weekdays on ITV from 6am.
