There’s a crowded primary race for retiring Rep. Jerrold Nadler’s seat.
George Conway is a prominent, outspoken critic of President Donald Trump and recently moved to the district in Manhattan to launch his congressional campaign.
He joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Monday to discuss his campaign.
“Our country is at a crossroads. Running for public office is something I never intended to do,” Conway said. “Our survival as a republic is at stake at this point.”
“I’m running because we have to preserve our democracy,” he continued.
