Coronation Street and Emmerdale in schedule shake-up this weekend with another unusual episode slot

Fans of Coronation Street and Emmerdale better brace themselves for another big schedule shake-up next week.
Both shows typically air every weeknight for 30 minutes, with Emmerdale usually airing at 8pm and Corrie following at 8:30pm.
But neither show will air in their usual slots next Tuesday (14 April) to make way for ITV coverage of the England v Spain FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 Qualifier.
Instead, the episodes have been moved forward to this Sunday, with Emmerdale set to air at 7pm on ITV that day, followed by Corrie at 7:30pm.
Fans will be pleased to hear that the episodes will air in their usual slots from next Wednesday.
Joshua Richards as Bear Wolf in Emmerdale.
Next week’s episodes of Corrie will see one of Weatherfield’s finest institutions go up in flames, while Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) is set to go to the police station to report Theo Silverton (James Cartwright).
There’ll also be trouble for Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) on the horizon as she confronts Carl.
Next week on Emmerdale, meanwhile, things will start to look up for Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) as evidence is found to support the fact she wasn’t involved in Celia Daniels’s human trafficking operation.
There’ll be bad news for Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt), however, as DS Walsh (Amanda Ryan) reveals a new theory that Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) deliberately killed Ray Walters (Joe Absolom), among other big developments.
